VS and VSV solar expansion tanks are designed for solar energy closed heating systems and their function is to compensate the liquid volume variation in function of the temperature within a solar energy system. VS-VSV expansion tanks are equipped with a special membrane in EPDM-HT material able to stand temperatures up to 140 °C and suitable for functioning with glycol solutions. In case of higher temperatures, the use of an additional vessel VSI can be useful for cooling down the liquid in the system and protect the expansion tank’s membrane.
